A passionate academic with a PhD from the dept of biomedical science interested in Neurogastroenterology – The Neural control of Gut function
My research interests lie in the processing of sensory information from the gastrointestinal tract and understanding the mechanisms underlying gut dysfunction. Continuing area of interest include the impact of oxidative stress on sensory signaling in adult and ageing states. I have a degree in education- science and enjoy combining teaching with research skills.
